Joe Volpicelli is currently leading creative on the Adobe business at Denstu Creative. He oversees a team of 25+ creatives working on performance marketing, sports sponsorships (MLB, NFL, NWSL) and brand expression work.
He’s the former Head of Creative at Prudential Financial. Recruited for the brand side role he led a team whose work encompassed creative and video production efforts for the in-house agency. His post also put him at the intersection of external work being done by agency partners, McCann NY for brand campaigns and Interbrand for brand strategy efforts.
Joe oversaw all creative work with a focus on their sports and entertainment sponsorships with the New Jersey Devils, Rutgers Basketball, The Rose Bowl, Broadway Curtain Up!, Team USA Olympic Sports Climbing and the Prudential Center in Newark.
Much of Joe’s work is focused on promoting economic opportunity for underserved communities, which included creating programs to support local black owned businesses through Prudential’s partnership with the NJ Devils and the Buy Black program.
Prior to Prudential, he held ad agency leadership roles at Deutsch LA, BBDO, and Grey. He earned his bachelor’s degree in art & design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
